National Honor Society

This organization recognizes accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Seton-La Salle sponsors a chapter of the National Honor Society. Juniors and Seniors are eligible to apply for membership when their cumulative weighted QPA is 3.35 or above. In addition, students must exhibit leadership skills, honorable character, as well as service to the community - a willingness to use talents and skills for the improvement of society. The application process occurs twice a year at Seton-La Salle High School, in the Fall and Spring; and the judgments made by the school committee are subjective evaluations of the quality of the student's participation in the life of the school.

Membership in the N.H.S. is a privilege for students chosen by the faculty. Upon becoming a member, students are required to maintain the standard in all four areas that established his or her membership. Through the N.H.S., the school gives recognition and appreciation to the students and their achievements.

For more information on the National Honor Society, please email Mrs. Margaret Stuart at stuartm@slshs.org.
