Stage Crew

The experience of the theater is on stage and off.  Stage Crew, a crucial part to any production, gives people the chance to be involved with the fall drama and spring musical behind the scenes.

The SLS Stage Crew is a join effort of the Drama Department, as well as the Multimedia Staff and the AV/TV homeroom.

Stage Crew is a big family, consisting of many departments:

Sound - lays out microphones, adjusts volumes, sound effects

Lights - maps out lighting cues for show, learns color balance, spotlights

Costumes - assists Costume Manager with selection for cast, helps dress/undress cast, applies makeup to cast

Props - gets necessary props for scenes, help with decorating set

Backstage - runs flys and curtain during show, moves props on/off stage

Construction - builds set, helps decorate set
