The team plays at Merrick Field.

The lady rebels had a great 06-07 season. Here are the highlights:

  • Final Record of 12-7, most wins in school history

  • Were ranked in the WPIAL top five all season long by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and laxpower.com, Ranked as high as #2, finished ranked #4.

The team also had many individual honors as well:

  • Section 3 All-Stars - Christina Blasi, Kaitlyn Black, Andrea DeFilippo, Meghan Reiser, Annie Roslonski

  • WPIAL All-Stars:   First Team – Kaitlyn Black;   Second Team – Christina Blasi, Andrea DeFilippo, Meghan Reiser, Annie Roslonski

  • 2007 US Lacrosse Academic All-Americans:  Kaitlyn Black, Andrea DeFilippo, Amanda Kerr, Annie Roslonski, Jessie Smith

  • 2007 Upper Atlantic Regional Team – Annie Roslonski

  • 2007 Almanac Lacrosse MVP – Andrea DeFilippo

  • 2007 WPIAL Coach of the Year: Brian Klisavage


SLS had six players move on to play at the college level in 07, more than any team in the WPIAL:

  • Kaitlyn Black – Canisius College

  • Christina Blasi – Gannon University

  • Andrea DeFilippo – University of Rochester

  • Amanda Kerr – Catholic University

  • Stephanie Lazzaro – Seton Hill University

  • Meghan Reiser – Saint Vincent College
