PENNSYLVANIA SOCCER COACHES ASSOCIATION James F. Smith Coach of the Year Committee Chairman 1442 Zimmerman Rd. Carlisle, PA. 17015
Seton-LaSalle H.S. 1000 McNeilly Rd Pittsburgh, PA 15226
Date:
December 1, 2006 Each year the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association honors one of its members as coach of the year in each high school classification. The criterion for this honor is very demanding. The coach must demonstrate knowledge of the game through the understanding of the rules and have developed a sound coaching philosophy. They must have established good rapport with the team, officials, and other coaches. Their conduct, as well as the conduct of the team, must represent the highest ideals of the game. They must also have exhibited involvement outside their high school program and be recognized by fellow coaches.
This year the Pennsylvania State Soccer Coaches Association is pleased and honored to present the 2006 W. Gene Davis Memorial Award as Coach of the Year in the A Boys classification to Aaron Panczyk of Seton-LaSalle H.S.
The award will be bestowed at the PSCA dinner, held January 27th in Harrisburg. The dinner is an event hosted by the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association. This release is an official announcement of the award and should be shared with all appropriate media outlets. Please help give these recipients the accolades they have earned.
