Seton - La Salle's Development Office
Seton-La Salle's Development Office, headed by Ms. Marilyn Walsh,
manages several large fund-raising campaigns such as the Annual Fund for
Tuition Assistance and special events including the
Dinner Auction, the
Rebel Golf Classic and the planned giving program to benefit the school.
The cornerstone of the Development Office continues to be the Annual
Fund for Tuition Assistance. Graduates of Seton-La Salle, Elizabeth
Seton, and South Hills Catholic High Schools, and other community
friends have been instrumental in helping us reach our Annual Fund goals
in the past. Last year, about $140,000 in tuition assistance was given
to our students because of your direct Annual Fund contributions and
enthusiastic participation in school events.
The Development Office also publishes the biannual newsletter "The SLS
Review" and helps to coordinate the Hall of
Fame Recognition ceremony. If you have news you would like included in

Planning begins for the 14th Annual Dinner Auction
If you would like to be involved in the planning for the 14th Annual Dinner Auction to be held November 8, 2008 at the Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe, please contact Marilyn Walsh at walshm@slshs.org or 412.561-3583 x 119. The auction committee invites all family, alumni and friends to join them in organizing this annual event. If you would like to share your talents, donate a gift or get involved in any way, call or e-mail.
Proceeds from the event fund technology needs and other academic and classroom tools, and support the high school's teaching and learning capabilities. Funds have been used to purchase a wireless computer lab, Smartboards, microscopes, school-wide access to the T1 internet line, and the latest education, student information and security software.

of Securities, Insurance and other fundsOne option to consider is making a gift of stocks and/or bonds to the Annual Fund or another special project or scholarship. Please contact the Development Office at 412.561-3583 x 119 for more information regarding this opportunity.
Merrick Field/Rebel Recognition Wall
The Recognition Wall is
becoming filled, with only a few of the larger tiles still available. If you haven't yet ordered your tile to commemorate your special
person, event, team or teacher, you still have time. To make a
donation or order a tile for the Rebel Recognition Wall, simply select from
the three
sizes of tiles still available and call Marilyn Walsh for guidelines for the
wording on your tile.

Tiles that re ordered
between September
2006 and
June 2007 will be installed in July 2007. If you haven't
come by to see the area, please do so. The landscaping and summer flowers
make it a truly pretty spot on campus.
