Account Activation Instructions
Dear Parents:
The following will
provide you with detailed instructions for activating your
Edline account which will permit you to follow the academic
progress of your son or daughter at Seton-La Salle during the
current academic year. If you have not received an activation
code or are unable to log in because you have forgotten your
password, please contact me via the email address provided
below. To activate your Edline account, please follow
these instructions:

Open your web browser (e.g. Internet
Explorer) and go to:
http://www.edline.net

Click on the
link labeled "Click here if you have a new activation code"

Enter the
PARENT activation code that you were provided. Please
enter it EXACTLY as shown (All CAPS with
dashes, no spaces)

After entering
the activation code above, click the button next to the
field that says "Enter".

You should then
see your name appearing below along with a box that says
"Activate This Code". Click this button.

On the next
screen, you must click "I Agree" to accept the Edline User
Agreement.

On the next
screen, click "New Account".

On the next
screen you are prompted to create a User Name and Password.
The user name can be anything that you like as long as it is
not in use by someone else.

Once this has
been completed, the final screen with show Edline User
Guides. On the very top of the screen, you will see the
word "Done". Click this to go to your Edline Home Page.
This completes your Edline activation.
During the
activation process, you also have the option of entering an
email address to receive notifications of new postings and
important notices as well as setting a security question in the
event that you forget your password. I STRONGLY
recommend that you set both of these. Otherwise, if you forget
your user name and password, you must contact me to reset it.
Also, be sure to select that you want to receive email from
Edline and the school. Otherwise, if important notices are sent
out, you will NOT receive them even though you have provided an
email address during the activation process.
The school has also
implemented a
mass notification system to notify parents and
students of emergency weather closings and other important
school-related information. During the activation process you
will be asked to provide a phone number for voice and/or text
messages. The school will be using this system to
communicate important information to parents, so please be
sure to enter in the appropriate information as needed.
