Spirit of Forensics Award

Lauren Hess won the coveted and prestigious Spirit of Forensics Award at the Bethel Park tournament held Feb. 12th and 13th. with over 35 schools and over 400 students competing. This award is given to an outstanding Forensics student that exemplifies what the true meaning of Forensics is...Lauren was nominated for this award due to her community service, spirit and dedication to the Forensics team/league and her leadership qualities.

Lauren Hess placed 2nd in the State Forensic qualifier tournament on February 27th in Persuasive Speaking - Original Oratory. This allows her to move on to the State tournament to be held at Susquehanna University on March 11-13, 2010. The top 2 competitors were able to move on to the state level.  Petey Bruni placed 6th in the state qualifier in Poetry.  Ellie Riedel placed 1st in the recent North Hills tournament in Prose.
