Course Descriptions Student of the Month
MAKE GOOD CHOICES!
The academic
programs at Seton-La Salle High School are designed to help students
prepare for a lifetime of study and work. All students are challenged to
strive for the highest levels of academic achievement as they develop
into Christian men and women. The required courses include and exceed the state-mandated minimum for a general education. Instruction is provided for advanced placement, academic, and general classes to all students based upon their individual needs. Elective courses are provided for personal enrichment. Advanced placement, honors, academic, and general courses are available in English, Math, Social Studies, World Languages, Science, Computer Science, Art, and Music. Our Religion courses carry full credit and are in accordance with the guidelines established by the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Our school possesses a large scale computer network that includes four main labs, twenty wireless laptops, high speed internet access in every classroom, accessible monochrome and color laserjet printing on each floor, and a full range of office productivity software enabling students to write and present academic work effectively. Through our "College in High School" dual enrollment program, students have the opportunity to earn college credit while in high school. In recent years, over 92% of our graduates have continued their post-high school education in an outstanding institution of higher learning. |
