On May 15th and 16th three Seton La Salle students competed among about 4,000 other young scientists and mathematicians at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science state competition at Penn State University. The students worked year round on science projects to present their research to a panel of judges. The judges asked questions connected to their project and then award the students a first, second, or third place.
Justin Cook, senior, earned a perseverance award for his work in science for the past 6 years. He earned a first place as well. Allyson Foster, sophomore, and Anna Mathias, freshmen, were awarded second places for their projects.
Congratulations to all these students!
