Retreats

JESUS SAID TO THEM, "COME AWAY BY YOURSELVES TO A DESERTED PLACE AND REST A WHILE." -MARK 6:31

We believe in following Jesus' invitation to step away from the busy-ness of life to discover him within our hearts and in our lives. Each grade level goes on a one-day, off-site retreat once a year.

We recently asked our students why they go on retreats and what they hope to experience. This is what they shared:

Our students’ desires are such a beautiful witness to God’s presence and activity in their inner lives! In order to help them “grow closer to God,” among many other good things, Seton LaSalle retreats include speakers, small group discussions, Mass, adoration, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and a lot of time for fellowship and/or solitude. The Campus Ministry team and faculty are available to students as small group facilitators, listeners, prayer partners, or just encouragement throughout the day.

By prioritizing time to rest with Jesus, we are empowered to go into the world and to live as his disciples.
