During the month of November Seton-La Salle will hold a food
drive to benefit The Brookline Food Bank and the St. Catherine’s
Food Bank. The annual food drive held at Seton-LaSalle
High School has a little bit of extra incentive this year, and
we are looking for some extra support! This year, we are
dedicating our food drive to the memory of Joe Kimutis, a recent
SLS graduate whose untimely death was a loss to many of us.
In addition, the school’s Campus Ministry office received a
challenge from John Carroll Catholic High School in Baltimore,
Maryland, daring us to enter into a Steelers/Ravens challenge.
We have accepted their “gauntlet”. The losing school in this
competition must wear the “colors” of the opposing NFL team.
Help us fill the coffers of the Brookline Food Bank and St.
Catherine of Siena food bank this Thanksgiving.
Non-perishable food items can be dropped off to Seton-LaSalle at
1000 McNeilly Rd., Mt. Lebanon, anytime between now and November
18. Items can be left on the front porch of the school
during school hours and someone will bring them inside, or they
can be sent in with a Seton-LaSalle student.
Thank you, Steeler fans, for your support!
