Part I
-
Turn the VCR/DVD
combo unit ON using either the unit’s remote or the unit’s switch (Toshiba
or JVC).

Insert the CD into the
DVD side of the VCR/DVD combo unit.

Notice the green LED
backlight on the unit that indicates either “VCR” or “DVD”. You want “DVD”.
-
Use the unit’s remote
or the unit’s switch to select DVD (as opposed to VCR) if it is not already
in this state.
Part II
-
Turn the Amplifier
on using the amplifier remote or the amplifier switch (amp is BLACK -
Sherwood brand).
-
Notice the LED
indicating either CD, VCR, Auxiliary or AM/FM (tuner).
-
Use the unit’s remote
or the amplifier switch to select VCR.
-
Adjust volume as needed
using the amplifier’s remote or the unit’s large knob on the right.

Part I
-
Insert the DVD into the
DVD side of the VCR/DVD combo unit.

remote at the projector and press the ON button.

Point the projector
remote at the projector and press the source button. This will cause the
projector to search for the DVD as the input source.
Q: It’s not finding my DVD?
A: The VCR/DVD combo unit may not be turned on.
A: The VCR/DVD combo unit may not be directed to send from the proper
source (VCR vs. DVD) (re-read part I)

Insert the VHS tape
into the VCR side of the VCR/DVD combo unit (Toshiba or JVC).

or the unit’s switch to select VCR (as opposed to DVD) if it is not already

Point the projector
remote at the projector (on the ceiling) and press the ON button.

Point the projector
remote at the projector and press the source button. This will cause the
projector to search for the DVD as the input source.
Q: It’s not finding my VHS tape?
A: The VCR/DVD combo unit may not be turned on.
A: The VCR/DVD combo unit may not be directed to send from the proper
source (VCR vs. DVD) (re-read part I)
A: You need to press the PLAY button on the remote or the unit.
I want to project from my computer
(e.g. Powerpoint Presentations)

Point the projector
remote at the projector and press the ON button. Assuming that the VCR/DVD
combo unit is off, the projector should warm up (takes a minute) and show
your computer screen.

If you want to
re-direct from VCR/DVD input to computer input without turning off the
VCR/DVD combo unit, then just press the source button to find alternative
sources.

If your presentation
has sound, then use the amplifier remote, or the amplifier’s switch, to
change to CD.
