As a Catholic school following the example of our patron saints, Elizabeth Ann Seton and John Baptist de La Salle, Seton LaSalle Catholic High School cultivates the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and social growth of each student, and prepares the individual to be a faith-filled, productive, responsible citizen.

Through faithful teaching of the Gospel, dedicated instruction in the academic disciplines, active participation in worship, and the generous sharing of time and talent through service to those in need, Seton LaSalle Catholic High School seeks to foster and incorporate into its very life the message revealed in Jesus Christ and through the teachings of His church.

Welcome to Seton LaSalle Catholic High School located in Mt. Lebanon, a suburb in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA. Seton LaSalle develops responsible, respectful young men and women who learn in a challenging environment, at the same time growing in knowledge of their faith in a nurturing atmosphere that allows each student to flourish. In 2018, Seton LaSalle was voted the best private school in the south Pittsburgh region by Pittsburgh-Post Gazette readers. We are blessed to share 82% of our faculty members have earned advanced degrees.

Teaching Philosophy Seton LaSalle offers a rigorous learning experience that helps our graduates achieve breakout success in their college and professional careers. Over 98% of Seton LaSalle graduates pursue higher education at top-ranked colleges and universities, including Carnegie Mellon University, Case Western Reserve University, Cornell University, Duquesne University, Penn State University, University of Notre Dame, University of Pittsburgh, the U.S. Naval Academy and more.

Modern Facility and Instruction Seton LaSalle is located on a beautiful 26-acre campus in Mt. Lebanon complete with a multipurpose athletic field, serene walking/running trail, extensive weight and conditioning facility, and numerous outdoor gardens.

The Innovation Lab, part of the STREAM Initiative (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) opened in the fall of 2016. Our students now have access to 3D printing, a soldering table, a production studio outfitted with professional equipment and a computer lab, all within the Innovation Lab.

Seton LaSalle provides students with WiFi throughout the building, new SHARP Aquos Boards or SMARTboards in every classroom, a Chromebook for every student, and a state-of-the-art Google JAMboard in our Kay Murdy Media Center, which opened in the fall of 2017.

Curriculum advantages include 19 AP Courses, including STREAM courses such as AP Computer Science. We offer Music Technology and Digital Arts, Desktop Publishing, Web Design, Gaming Technology as well as 3 AP Art courses. Additionally, we are proud to offer our students 29 Honors courses.

Awards and Honors Seton LaSalle graduates are consistently recognized for their academic, extracurricular, and creative accomplishments and talents. We are proud to share that we have had 17 National Merit Scholars in the past five years.

Seton LaSalle students are offered generous scholarships - academic, athletic and special interest- typically averaging about $5 million each year.

The Class of 2018 was accepted to 181 colleges and universities, including: Baylor University, Bucknell University, Canisius College, Carnegie Mellon University, Case Western Reserve University, Cornell University, Drexel University, Georgia Tech, Harvard University, MIT, Princeton University, Purdue University, Tulane University, Villanova University, Virginia Tech, Yale University, and more. The Class of 2018 included two National Merit Finalists and one National Merit Letter of Commendation. The Class of 2017 included seven Carson Scholars; six National Tournament Qualifiers for Academic Games; one student, who was accepted into the U.S. Naval Academy, was awarded the National Catholic Educational Association Elizabeth Seton Award, along with the Waldie/Shaeffer Award.
