At the St. Clair Hospital Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon held on May 11th at Nevillewood Country Club, Justin Cook was awarded the Alice Lockhart Scholarship in recognition of his over 1000 hours of service at the hospital since 2014. The scholarship was established by the late Alice Lockhart, who volunteered at St. Clair for 22 years and logged more than 25,000 hours of service. She named St. Clair Hospital Foundation in her will to provide scholarships to junior volunteers for outstanding service to the hospital.
Justin has volunteered as a patient escort, information desk associate, and gift shop associate at the hospital. This summer he will expand his service to include the sterile processing department and surgical waiting area.
