Academics

The academic programs at Seton LaSalle High School are designed to help students prepare for a lifetime of study and work. All students are challenged to strive for the highest levels of academic achievement as they develop into Christian men and women. We produce results on all levels. We have graduates currently studying at Ivy League colleges such as Cornell University and University of Pennsylvania (Penn) as well as those serving refugees overseas.

82% of our faculty members earned advanced degrees.

Each student is issued a Google Chromebook upon entering Seton LaSalle. Technology is made readily available to students and faculty including WiFi throughout the building and new SHARP Aquos Boards or SMARTboards in every classroom. We focus on collaborative learning through GoogleDocs shared between students for projects. Many textbooks are online. In the fall of 2016, Seton LaSalle launched an Innovation Lab, as part of the STREAM Initiative with emphasis on Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts and Math. The Innovation Lab offers our students a computer lab, a professionally-equipped broadcast studio, a mini-Mac lab, a soldering table and 3-D printer.

Curriculum advantages include 19 AP Courses, including STREAM courses such as AP Computer Science. We offer Music Technology and Digital Arts, Desktop Publishing, Web Design, Gaming Technology as well as 3 AP Art courses. We also offer 29 Honors courses. Our students may take SLS classes for college credit and register as a Dual Enrollment student with CCAC to earn college credit in high school.
