Seton LaSalle is a college preparatory school with a nurturing atmosphere designed to encourage each student to live up to his or her God-given potential. With a student body of approximately 410, the average class size is 15 students, allowing for more personalized attention from teachers. We are blessed that 82% of our faculty members earned advanced degrees.
Located on 26 acres in Mt. Lebanon in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Seton LaSalle Catholic High School was voted Best Private School in the south Pittsburgh region by Pittsburgh Post-Gazette readers. Our school has produced 17 National Merit Scholars in the past 5 years. The Class of 2018 was accepted into over 130 colleges and universities, including: Baylor University, Bucknell University, University of California (Irvine), Carnegie Mellon University, Case Western Reserve University, Cornell University, Drexel University, George Washington University, Lehigh University, Northeastern University, University of Oregon, Purdue University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Syracuse University, Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Xavier University, and many more. Collectively, the Class of 2018 was awarded approximately $5 million in scholarships and grants to use toward their college education. The Class of 2018 included two National Merit Scholar Finalists and one National Merit Letter of Commendation.
The personal growth of each student as an individual and as a member of the Christian community is the primary concern at Seton LaSalle. Through the faithful teaching of the gospel, active participation in worship and dedicated instruction in the academic disciplines, we seek to nurture and incorporate the message revealed in Jesus Christ.
