Fellowship of Christian Athletes

MODERATOR: MRS. JUDY CAVES

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Seton LaSalle leads events that contribute to the spiritual atmosphere within athletics. Events include the Empty Bowl Project––for a small donation, participants receive a donated meal and a handmade ceramic bowl. All proceeds benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Other events include Prayer at the Pole and overnight volleyball, which raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project. Members also help the school with donations gathered during the Advent Week of Giving.

Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, collegiate, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Fellowship of Christian Athletes is the largest Christian sports organization in the world and focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ.
