Fr. Michael Faix

Fr. Michael Faix joined Seton LaSalle as Co-Chaplain in 2020. Fr. Mike is a newly ordained priest for the Diocese of Pittsburgh and is serving as Parochial Vicar at Corpus Christi Parish. He grew up in White Oak, PA, and was a part of St. Martin de Porres Parish in McKeesport. Fr. Mike graduated from McKeesport High School in 2006 and attended Allegheny College, where he majored in Physics and minored in Music. After graduating from college in 2012, Fr. Mike served with National Evangelization Teams (NET) Ministries in Minnesota, as both a Team Missionary and a Team Supervisor for three years.
 
Fr. Mike entered the seminary for the Diocese of Pittsburgh in 2013, spending two years at Saint Paul Seminary in Pittsburgh and four years at Saint Vincent Seminary in Latrobe. He also spent a pastoral year at St. Margaret Mary Parish in Moon Township in 2017-18. Fr. Mike enjoys running, reading, playing guitar, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. He is very excited to be a part of the Seton LaSalle community and looks forward to growing closer to Christ together.
