SLS Drone Club

The Seton LaSalle Drone Club seeks to explore the cutting edge technology of unmanned aerial vehicles that are helping to change the worldwide community for the better.  

Students explore programming, aerodynamics, aircraft design, radio frequencies, safety, law, flight simulation, 3D printing and discuss current events all related to the unmanned aerial vehicle industry.

Current projects include:

  • 3D printed first person view racing drones
  • Ardupilot quadcopter with autonomous waypoint and drop mechanism design.


The club meets on  Mondays from 3:00pm - 4:15pm in the Innovation Lab.

Moderated by our Director of Innovation & Technology, Mr. Michael Gianoutsos, and led by student President Peter Kutchke.
