Our first ever homecoming weekend for Seton LaSalle Catholic High School was off to a perfect start when fans cheered the Rebel football team onto a big 36-0 win over Fort Cherry. On Saturday, over 500 alumni, current families, faculty, and friends of SLS gathered on our 26-acre campus under beautiful blue skies for the first-ever "Rebelfest" Homecoming weekend festival.
There was something for everyone. Little ones scaled the Jacob's Ladder inflatable, engineered the construction of Giant Jenga, or spun a candy wheel. The bigger kids dunked coaches and each other in the dunk tank, squared up for hoop challenges, or took aim at the baseball throw. The "young at heart" were taken back in time as they listened and danced to the music of Pure Gold, whose manager is Henry DeLuca, '64.
Food truck fare and flavorful cotton candy provided a delicious way for friends, old and new, to gather together in the tradition of Seton's strong community. The excitement of Rebelfest's success has everyone already planning for next year! We are blessed to be able to share our rich past, thriving present and promising future with the Seton LaSalle community. We are grateful for your support, and we can't wait to see you next year!
