Congratulations to Olivia Edkins, '21, who signed her letter of intent to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at the University of Akron on November 11! She'll continue her academic and athletic career as a Zip.
Olivia, known by her teammates as "DeeDee", broke several Rebel Girls Lacrosse scoring records. During her freshman year, she shattered Ellie Grefenstette's, '18, freshman scoring record. DD broke Ellie's sophomore season scoring record the following year, and was on pace to be the Rebels all-time leading goal scorer after four seasons, but her junior season was canceled due to COVID-19.
DD is looking forward to going out on a great note this season with her teammates, and looks forward to heading to Akron in the fall! Great job, DD! We can't wait to follow your Success Beyond SLS!
