The Mitzie Holliday Memorial Scholarship Fund was created in 2014 by James Holliday, SHC '73, in memory of his mother.
The scholarship will provide need-based scholarships to 2 female students per grade (grades 9-12), up to $5,000 per year. The award is renewable for up to four years, provided the recipient remains in good standing.
The Mitzie Holliday Scholarship is available to support young women who demonstrate both financial need and strong moral character. Applicants must be practicing Christians, particularly those of the Catholic faith. This scholarship seeks to recognize students who strive to live out their values through integrity, service, and commitment to their faith, school, and community. In addition to completing the application, each candidate must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, pastor, or principal who can speak to the applicant’s character and commitment to living a faith-filled life.
