Position: Long-Term Substitute ELA Teacher (October 2025 - June 2026)
We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified English/Language Arts teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will:
-Hold a valid PA State Certification in English and Language Arts (or a current out-of-state certification with the ability to transfer).
-Preferably have experience teaching Honors level courses.
-Have an interest in teaching American Literature.
-Demonstrate effective classroom management and strong communication skills.
-Show a proven ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
-Support and actively uphold the mission and values of Catholic education.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Prior high school teaching experience
-Familiarity with differentiated instruction and student-centered learning
-A commitment to professional growth and collaboration.
-Knowledge of the strategies consistent with instructing students of different academic abilities
