STREAM integrated into World Cultures

Mrs. Schmidt's Honors World Cultures class had a unique lesson recently. Students are currently learning about Alexander the Great and siege warfare. They're learning about catapults, and how they were used to shape history. Mrs. Schmidt brought in the help of Mr. Michael Gianoutsos, Director of Technology, to show students how to use the school's 3D printer to make a catapult to allow students to see a catapult firsthand to explore the parts and physics of the device firsthand.
