Happy New Year, #RebelFamily! January 1st is the Solemnity of Mary the Mother of God, a day to honor Mary’s part in bringing Jesus, our Savior, into the world and her role now as our spiritual mother. We call Mary “blessed” and “holy” not to treat her as equal to God, but to recognize how she has cooperated with His grace and allowed His will to be done through her. Truly humble of heart and united to God, she always points to her Son and urges us to have a deeper relationship with Him.
