Recently, we welcomed back The Most Reverend Mark A. Eckman, ‘77, to Seton LaSalle! As a South Hills Catholic graduate, it is always so nice to have Bishop Eckman celebrate Mass with our school community. As part of the 250th anniversary of the founding of our country, Bishop Eckman consecrated our school to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. In doing so, the Bishop implored our students to learn more about Jesus's tender, kind heart and to model that kindness for our nation and the whole world. After Mass, he greeted our students and met with our OCIA participants to discuss their journey into faith.
