Meet Kayla Edwards
Mrs. Edwards was named Assistant Principal for the 2024-2025 school year. She has taught and served students within the Diocese of Pittsburgh since 2012. Kayla earned her Bachelor's degree in Secondary English (Grades 7 - 12) from Clarion University and is also certified in Technology Education (K-12). She holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instructional Design, as well as an additional Graduate Certification for School Principal K - 12 from Point Park University. She spent most of her tenure at Saint Benedict the Moor School in Pittsburgh's Hill District. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served as the Pittsburgh City Regional Catholic Elementary Schools’ Virtual Learning Coordinator alongside her in-person teaching.
Her main goal, in and out of the classroom, has always been to help students develop problem-solving skills they can use wherever they go in life. Seton LaSalle’s faith-filled environment and mission align with her continued dedication to education and her goal of keeping Christ at the center of learning and development in our youth.
