Classical Studies Capstone Projects

Congratulations to the first graduating class from our Classical Studies Program!

Please read on to hear about their Senior Capstone Projects!

Welcome to the 2025-2026 Senior Capstone page. These papers reflect the culmination of the effort of these students over the course of the past four years. These students decided that they wanted to complete the full Classical Studies Track at Seton LaSalle Catholic High School, and thus, in the second semester of their senior year, they opted to take a new course called “HN CS Senior Capstone.” This course brings students through a collegiate-style study of a topic of their own choosing. Students visited the John Paul II Library at Franciscan University, referenced scholarly work, ancient texts, and more in the development of their thesis papers.

The goal of this program is to lead students to experience Truth, Beauty, and Goodness, to direct students towards God. To learn more about our program and team, please click here.

This past year, these students presented their topics and gave a brief abstract of their work. Some of their papers are linked below. Please read and enjoy! If you are interested in seeing all of the Classical students' final papers, please reach out to Mr. Ross Ayer ([email protected]).

Please pray for them, the program, and all students in the program that we might continue to live out our mission well!
