Reece Norman

Reece Norman started at Seton LaSalle in 2020. He's been a Pittsburgh native for practically his entire life, attending Pittsburgh Public Schools and graduating from Taylor Allderdice High School, where he was fortunate to have two extraordinarily passionate and effective physics teachers who inspired a love of the subject in him. After high school, Reece attended Juniata College for his B.S. in Engineering Physics, graduating in May 2019. During his time at Juniata, he played Ultimate Frisbee—a sport he's loved since a young age—and captained the League of Legends e-sports team, which are both hobbies of his outside the classroom.

During his time in high school, Reece began spending his summers working at various summer camps as a counselor and enjoyed himself so much that he kept going back. With the exception of the 2020 summer, Reece has been a counselor at Shadyside Academy's summer camps since 2015—fist Day Camp Discovery as a science specialist, then later at Camp Renaissance as a general counselor.

Reece spent the 2019-20 academic year as a long-term physics substitute at Oakland Catholic High School and had a rewarding experience, and looks forward to making the most of his time at Seton LaSalle.
