Table Tennis Club
MODERATOR: MR. KURT NELSON, '80
The Seton LaSalle Table Tennis Club is an in-house team that meets in the cafeteria after school on Wednesdays and alternating Thursdays from 2:50-4:30 p.m. from September to mid-May. The club is open to players of all skill levels. Participants don't need to be present for the full meeting time––arrive late, leave early, or stay for the full session. We're glad to have you. You don't even need to bring your own paddle––you can use one from the club's selection.
Members can be casual, "just for fun" players, or can sign up for a club record sheet to keep track of wins and losses, earning an official club rating. The Top Ten active players are posted weekly on the flatscreen TVs throughout the school. Typically, two singles tournaments (one in the fall and one in the spring) and a winter doubles tournament are held each year. Prizes are awarded to the winners (and frequently to one other lucky, non-winning participant). Come give us a try!
